Please mark your calendars for a one-man performance called, Aldo Leopold: A Standard of Change, at the Aldo Leopold Middle School auditorium on Jan. 22, 2013. The hour-long event will start at 7:00 PM and will be open to the public at no charge. There will be time for questions and discussion following the performance.

Actor Jim Pfitzer brings us this show, which presents Aldo returning to the Shack some 60 years after his death. He recalls friends, family, and his accomplishments, most notably his conservation Land Ethic and how his essay "Thinking Like a Mountain" reflects a major change in his view of predators.

Mr. Pfitzer has gotten excellent reviews across the country, including the highest marks from Buddy Huffaker, director of the Aldo Leopold Foundation after a performance there last year.

If you would like to see a clip of the show and read additional information about Jim, you may do a word search using his full name, Jim Pfitzer, or Aldo Leopold: A Standard of Change.

The show is sponsored by Leopold Heritage Group, The Hawk Eye, BCSD, Partners for Conservation, Dave and Linda Riley, and Billie and Carl Hays.
